Do you ever feel like somewhere between falling in love, getting married, raising a family, developing a career, taking care of parents, and trying to meet everyone's expectations of the superwoman you've become, that you lost something? Do you ever feel like you've put aside your own dreams, aspirations, hobbies, and sense of adventure for the sake of practicality? Do you long to sit quietly and relax without hearing your name called? It's time to reclaim yourself, take a break, and turn your focus and energy to yourself! It's time for Summer Camp for Moms and other weary women at Camp Ladybug for Women.

Camp 2010!

It's hard to believe a week has gone by since we were at camp! I miss the tranquility of the woods, the sun shining through the trees, the sound of the screen doors slamming. I miss the incredible women who shared in my dream of a summer camp for women.

They came from both near and far, they came as sisters, mothers & daughters and as individuals on a journey; in search of self, in search of fun, laughter and relaxation and a massage. Seeking refuge from our busy world, seeking refreshment and rediscovery of one's self.

We realized those dreams and so much more in those few days. In those little cabins in the woods where life was simple, hands were many, worries were burned and friendships were born, spirits were restored, lives were blessed.

I've returned home fulfilled and enriched from the experience of seeing a dream come to life, thanks to the women who shared in my vision. I have been truly blessed this weekend with joy in my heart, peace within my spirit as I witnessed the smiles, felt the joy, heard the laughter at Camp Ladybug For Women. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those women who came and believed. I found a quote which summed up my emotions as I returned from camp; I hope you enjoy it as well. ~ Terry

" Occasionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment which cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Their meanings can only be articulated by the inaudible language of the heart." ~ Martin Luther King Jr
